KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Over the next couple of weeks, 2026 World Cup watch parties and events are planned all over the Kansas City metro.

You can watch multiple matches at Memorial Hall in downtown Kansas City, Kansas.

“Kick it in KCK” watch parties are free and include activities for the whole family.

The highlight for one young soccer fan.

“When Mexico scores,” she said.

And the celebration that follows the goal.

World Cup matches are played on a big screen inside Memorial Hall.

There are plenty of other activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

You can practice your own soccer skills, enter giveaways, and grab a bite to eat.

“It’s been great to see families come here and have a good time and enjoy the food and beverages that are inside. This is such an iconic and historic venue. So to see soccer fans come and enjoy themselves and enjoy the game here, that’s kind of what makes it worth it, and I think that’s what sets us apart,” said Ritz Dasgupta, senior manager of Integrated Marketing Communications for Visit KCK.

The family-friendly environment and climate-controlled venue drew people to the event.

“I think it’s fun, and it is a family friendly place too, and outside is so hot, so it’s nice to be inside,” said Jocelyn, a Team Mexico fan who was at the watch party.

“I’m here with my kids. We are having lots of fun, and it’s really good that it’s inside because outside it is really hot, so we are having lots of fun. I highly recommend it,” said Leslie Cepda, a Team Mexico fan who was at the event.

Visit KCK is hosting the free watch parties at Memorial Hall. On Thursday, they were giving away mini team flags for both South Africa and Mexico.

During the event series, there’s a chance to win tickets to a FIFA World Cup match in Kansas City and tickets to Tacos and Tequila KC.

“So you have to be present at the watch parties to be able to be eligible to win those. There’s also tons of FIFA KC merch that we’re giving away,” Dasgupta explained.
