Probably. We only drafted one staring caliber CB. We weren't really in a position to draft more than that. What were you expecting?

Im not expecting him to start opposite of Hood right away, no. But should Hood or DRC go down with injury, we're exactly where we were at last year.

We haven't signed anybody else.. Our nickel DBs were crap, not just the starters. (except Hood)

Agree. It just depends on how soon he signs.

I am optimistic that at 16, finally we will not have a holdout and get a first-rounder in training camp day 1.

As long as we dont have any injuries. All it takes is one or two of them to come up lame after a play and we are scrambling for answers like last season. I just dont want to see Oliver Celestin on the field again, unless its special teams

Having an improved pass rush is will make a world of difference as well. Our lesser CBs won't look nearly as bad when the QB has to throw a little early or off his back foot.

On paper, we've got three starting-caliber corners if you include DRC. Add to this - Brown, Bain, Ware, Adams and (in a pinch) Rolle and we probably have enough backups who won't embarrass us if they had to step in.

I'd also keep an eye out for the UDFA from McNeese (Marcus Brown). I gotta feeling...

Actually, I'm more concerned about our depth at safety - we don't have a lights out (Shazor-like) hitter behind Adrian Wilson (Celestin is OK but he's no clone of A-Dub) and at FS, it's essentially Francisco and Rolle with no one behind them. Keep an eye on the UDFA Keyes to possibly break thru.

I'm puzzled why, if he's any good still, he has not received a single offer from any team nor been invited for any visit, as far as I know.
