Yeah I think that does it. The rumor was that the Chiefs offered a 5th round pick at some point and were turned down by the Cardinals. My guess is that there was probably some offer of Snoop Minnis and a late rounder pick that was also turned down.

To be honest, I'm a bit perplexed by the Cardinals moves today. Trading down to get 2 #1s is not so bad, but to swap 2nds and give up a 4th blows my mind. To then reach on both #1 picks further accentuates the issue. Finally, to not make a deal for a RB that will likely be cut with a team who definitely wanted him makes for a very confusing day.

Confusing? Maybe to an outsider. Butl to those of us who follow the Cards a little closer... Let me explain. Only one play-off win in 50 years. Now you know why.
The only part we get confused about is how we still manage to stay fans of this team.

Not only did the Cardinals ruin their draft, but they probably just ruined any chance of Jones playing anywhere else this season. They really ruined the Chiefs chances of upgrading their D. Theres no way I would have ever thought they would take Larry Johnson.

I bet Saints fans are happy.

The Cards need to get into the 4th round. Send TJ to HOU, OAK, MIA, or NE for a 4th and pray to get Long. That would help the chances of slavaging this draft....
