I was hoping 4 years, 80 million, but this isn't too far off that mark and it still could be a bargain.

Same. It’s a little more than I wanted, but locks up a youngin who probably would have garnered more on the open market.

This somewhat salvages the offseason, but the Suns still cannot afford to be just Booker surrounded by role players, and while he is an excellent one, Bridges is a role player, and that's all he'll ever be.

The Suns still need either to extend Ayton or miraculously find a way to trade him for another player with star potential.

That said, kudos to James Jones for getting this deal done.

Yep. Not sure what had people thinking 20mil per was even an option barring injury or regression, he gets maxed as a RFA next year.

This is only $2.5 million more a year. It's really not far from what a lot of us hoped for or envisioned. It's fair for both sides.

I don't think either Mikal's camp or the Suns can claim victory without agreeing it was a mutual victory since we kept someone who wanted to be here for a price that doesn't handicap our future.
