Sheila García joins Inter
MILANO -FC Internazionale Milano is pleased to announce the signing of Sheila García. The Spanish defender, born in 1997, has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2029.
Born on 15 March 1997 in Yunquera de Henares, in the province of Guadalajara, Sheila García began playing football with her hometown club, Club Deportivo Yunquera. She made her Primera División debut with Rayo Vallecano in 2016, beginning what would become the first chapter of her career in Madrid. During five seasons with Rayo, she stood out for her versatility, establishing herself on the right flank and earning her first call-up to the Spanish national team. She made her international debut in 2019 and went on to feature at UEFA Women’s Euro 2022. After making 135 appearances and scoring 20 goals for Rayo Vallecano, she joined Atletico Madrid in 2021 before moving to Real Madrid in 2024.
