Sheffield United vs Swansea City – Match preview and team news

Sheffield United welcome Swansea City to Bramall Lane on Good Friday, with both sides desperate to snap their concerning winless runs.

The Blades enter this fixture sitting 17th in the Championship table after a four-game winless streak. Chris Wilder’s men have struggled for consistency lately, recording just one victory in their last 13 league outings.

Most recently, they suffered a disappointing 2–1 home defeat to Wrexham. Interestingly, Sheffield United have dropped more points from winning positions than any other side in the division this term (27).

Swansea City travel to South Yorkshire sitting 14th, just two points ahead of their hosts. The Swans have also struggled recently, enduring consecutive defeats against Wrexham and Coventry City.

They lost 3–0 to the Sky Blues in their last outing and face the risk of losing three in a row without scoring. However, the Welsh side can take confidence from the reverse fixture in August, which they won 1–0.
