Shedeur Sanders was once seen as a potential Top 3 prospect in the NFL draft, but his stock could be taking a big drop and the Colorado quarterback now faces a major warning from an NFL coach.
Sanders has come under fire for his demeanor in recent weeks, with reporter Josina Anderson sharing in March that some teams were put off in pre-draft interviews.
“I am disappointed to hear that a quarterbacks coach from a team drafting in the top 7 referred to Shedeur Sanders as coming off ‘brash’ and ‘arrogant’ in his team interview and making his assessment known to a number of people, per source,” Anderson reported.
Anderson added that she was sharing one coach's assessment, but others seem to agree. NFL.com insider Tom Pelissero shared on Tuesday that another NFL assistant coach blasted Sanders as "entitled" and said the Colorado quarterback had "the worst formal interview I've ever been in in my life."
"He’s so entitled," the coach said. "He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates, but the biggest thing is, he’s not that good.”

Even if he falls further down the NFL draft board than many initially projected, Sanders could still find himself in a good position. NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks predicted he would land with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the No. 21 overall pick, which he saw as the perfect spot.
"Mike Tomlin could view Sanders as the perfect quarterback for his squad," Brooks wrote. "With his confidence, moxie and pinpoint passing skills, the Colorado star might ignite a dormant offense that has already added some star power this offseason."
