As the entire NBA world watched, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made more basketball history. The Oklahoma City Thunder came away with a 129-126 win over the Denver Nuggets. Aside from it being super entertaining, the reigning MVP also added to his mythos.

On a pull-up 3-pointer, Gilgeous-Alexander tied Wilt Chamberlain for the longest 20-point scoring streak in NBA history at 126 consecutive games. He finished with 35 points on 14-of-21 shooting, 15 assists and nine rebounds.

Gilgeous-Alexander hit the game-winner on a stepback 3-pointer. Just some storybook stuff on a night that will stay in MVP voters' minds with a month to go in the regular season.

Gilgeous-Alexander will get a chance to usurp Chamberlain when they host the Boston Celtics on Thursday, Mar. 12. Expect the entire NBA world to tune into that one as he tries to make NBA history.
