Good morning, baseball fans!
As last week ended, I didn’t have many fond thoughts to share about the San Francisco Giants. Mostly because they hadn’t played any games last week. And also morale is just kind of low at the moment overall.
But Willie Adames gave Giants fans a reason to cheer in Friday night’s 7-0 win over the Seattle Mariners, in which he hit the team’s eighth grand slam of the season (and his second). So for that, he gets an appreciation post today. And at the rate the team is going, he will probably get the highlight of the week as well.
Good job, Adames!
