The Seymour High School Sports Hall of Fame will induct eight new members at its annual banquet on Sunday, Oct. 25 at Oak Lane Country Club in Woodbridge at 2 p.m.
The 2026 inductees are:
John Mastrobattisto (Class of 1960) for football, basketball and baseball
John Krot (1965) for football, basketball and baseball
Stephen Cochran (1967) for football, baseball and basketball
Jim Slie (1971) for football, basketball and baseball
Paul Haynes (1976) for football
Ryan Osiecki (2007) for football and basketball
John Murphy (2009) for baseball and basketball
Katy Petroski (2015) for softball and indoor track
Other honorees
The late Denis DeBarber will receive the Outstanding Contribution Award for his years as a volunteer assistant coach.
The 1969 football squad will be honored as one of the most outstanding teams in Seymour High School sports history.
Joe Carrafiello, Eric DeMarco and Kenzie Sirowich will be honored for being inducted into the New Haven County Basketball Hall of Fame.
