Some thought he wouldn't play at all until Luke Falk went back home to attend Tyler Hilinki's funeral. But he did.

Mayfield’s mom is in the hospital. He could have dropped out but she insisted he go. That was the best I’ve seen Allen. Whoever he’s been working with him has done an impressive job!

dude had an impressive day. Had me thinking, "this is Kirk Cousins" while watching the game.
Considering the level of coaching he has likely had at Richmond... the guy may become a real baller with some NFL coaching. Not surprised the Pats like him.

seems like the biggest thing for this kid is when the game slows down... having experience taking snaps from under center is huge as lots of teams really worry about a kids ability to adapt to that.

Wonder if the steelers might jump in there and get him at 28?..err...27??...whatever?

we need to hope he does. He looks to have all the tools to be a solid nfl QB... but if guys like him, white, and Luke Falk haave good combines and pro days and move up it could help us land a guy... the more clutter at the top the better.

Yes but we must get our qb, this the best class I remember, and probably we arent forced to trade up to get a good qb at 15, and we still have qb option in the second round

IMO, he has been a enigma at ASU. Wish him the best in the NFL. He had the potential to be much better.

Mike White was quick, decisive, cool and accurate (the kind of QB who's usually about 6-1 or 6-2 and 205 lbs).

Only White is more like 6-4 and 237. I like him as a 2nd echelon jQB steal.
