After coming within a whisker of a PIAA Class 3A title in 2024, and two whiskers of one a year ago, La Salle made sure there would be no doubt this season.
"These guys have a goal to win a state title, and they have the ability and the drive to do it," said La Salle second-year head coach Jack Forster in late May.
"That's what they've been working for since last year and they'll give everything that they have."
The Explorers did just that and it paid off as they won the state title with a convincing 16-9 win over Radnor in the title game. It was La Salle's first PIAA championship since 2019.
It also earned the Explorers the Courier Times/Intelligencer Boys' Lacrosse Team of the Year honors.
"Our goal was to get to the state championship," senior Dylan Malone said after the Explorers' PIAA semifinal win over Springfield-Delco.

"Now that we've done that, our goal is to win one more game."
Mission accomplished and in a grand way.
Conside, in their four PIAA playoff games, the 22-3 Explorers outscored their opponents by a whopping 54-19 margin, nearly nine goals a game.
"When our offense gets going, we're hard to stop," said senior Will Trymbiski, the Philadelphia Catholic League MVP, who scored a game-high five goals in the title game win over Radnor.
"So many guys can score and we pass the ball really well."
Two years ago, the Explorers lost in the PIAA title game to Radnor while in 2025, a loss to Springfield (Delco) in the PIAA semifinals ended their season.

This year, La Salle outscored those two teams 28-13 (12-4 over Springfield-Delco and 16-9 over Radnor) and trailed just once, to Radnor, for a few minutes late in the first quarter of the state final before blowing the game open.
"This is just a great group of kids that want go get better and love the game of lacrosse," Forster said.
