Here is the 2026 Courier Times/Intelligencer all-star boys' lacrosse team:

First Team


(in alphabetical order)

Tyler Borneman, Pennridge, senior, defense


A three-time first-team Suburban One League National Conference selection, a two-time first-team Courier Times/Intelligencer pick, and a four-year starter, he helped the Rams capture their fourth straight SOL National Conference title.

John Curtis, Pennsbury, senior, attack


A two-time first-team Suburban One League National Conference selection, and a second-team Courier Times/Intelligencer choice a year ago, he helped the Falcons qualify for the PIAA District One Class 3A tournament. He will play college lacrosse at Grove City College.

Rocco Fanelli, Pennridge, senior, attack


A first-team Suburban One League National Conference selection, he helped lead the Rams to their fourth straight SOL National Conference title. A four-year starter, he led the Rams in goals with 56 and was tied for second in assists with 25. He will play his college lacrosse at Penn Tech.

Cooper Heilig, La Salle, senior, defense


A first-team Philadelphia Catholic League selection, he helped lead the Explorers to the PIAA Class 3A title for the school's first state championship since 2019. He was also a linebacker on the Explorers' football team that won the PIAA Class 6A title. He will play his college lacrosse at Ohio State University.

Roman Ippoldo, La Salle, junior, goalie


A first-team Philadelphia Catholic League selection, he helped lead the Explorers to the PIAA Class 3A title. A two-year starter for La Salle, he has already committed to play his college lacrosse at Cornell University.

Dylan Malone, La Salle, senior, midfield


A first-team Philadelphia Catholic League selection, he helped lead the Explorers to the PIAA Class 3A title. He had three goals in the state championship game against Radnor. He will play his college lacrosse at Duke University.

Michael Rafalowski, Central Bucks West, junior, midfielder


A first-team Suburban One League National Conference selection, he helped the Bucks tie for third in the SOL National Conference and earn a berth in the PIAA District One Class 3A tournament. He finished the season with 33 goals and 30 assists and eclipsed the career 100-goal mark midway through the year.

Matthew Shohen, Upper Dublin, senior, midfield


A first-team Suburban One League American Conference selection, he helped the Flying Cardinals win the SOL American Conference title, place second in the PIAA District One Class 2A tournament and earn a PIAA playoff berth. His hat trick in the first round of states keyed an Upper Dublin win over Moravian Academy.

Will Trymbiski, La Salle, senior, attack


A first-team Philadelphia Catholic League selection, he helped lead the Explorers to the PIAA Class 3A title. He had a game-high five goals in the state championship game against Radnor. He was also named the PCL's Most Valuable Player. He will play his college lacrosse at Hofstra University.

James Vargason, Central Bucks South, senior, defense


A first-team Suburban One League National Conference selection, he was also named the SOL National Conference's Player of the Year, a remarkable achievement considering the Titans finished the season with a record below .500. He will play his college lacrosse at Mount Saint Mary's University.
