Five players from Ohio's MLB teams will participate in the 2026 MLB All-Star Game on July 14, including a Columbus Clippers graduate from this season.

The Guardians usually have representation in the Midsummer classic from third baseman Jose Ramirez, but the seven-time All-Star will be absent from the game this season after fracturing his hamate bone in his left hand on June 13. Regardless, the Guardians have two pitchers and one infielder headed to Philadelphia to participate.

Similarly, Cincinnati Reds star shortstop Elly De La Cruz was not named an All-Star after missing a majority of June with a hamstring strain.
