Of the SouthCoast's eight girls lacrosse teams, six have qualified for the 2026 MIAA state tournament.

Fairhaven has the highest seed among local squads, ranked No. 7 in Div. 4. Dartmouth is seeded 10th in Div. 2.

Apponequet, Dartmouth and Fairhaven all kick off the playoffs with home games while Bishop Stang, Old Colony and Old Rochester are on the road.

Here’s a look at the six playoff-bound SouthCoast girls lacrosse teams and their opening matchups:

Apponequet​


Record: 13-6

Seed: No. 23 in Div. 3

Opening matchup: Hosts No. 42 Pittsfield (10-4) in the preliminary round at a date and time to be determined.

Girls Lacrosse: Lewis is a double threat for playoff-bound Fairhaven

Bishop Stang​


Record: 6-9

Seed: No. 20 in Div. 3

Dartmouth​


Record: 14-2

Seed: No. 10 in Div. 2

Opening matchup: Hosts No. 23 Archbishop Williams (11-7) in the Round of 32 at a date and time to be determined.
