FSU may not be the highest-rated team in the upcoming release of EA Sports' College Football 27, but that doesn't mean there aren't star players that gamers can build around.
CFB 27, and by a broader extension, sports video game players that make them up are defined by their "overall", a general number that takes into account how good all of their individual attributes are to give a rough idea without needing to dive too deep into analytics.
Naturally, the Oregons and Ohio States of the world have a lot of high overall players, given the program's reputation and star talent. Florida State, meanwhile, despite only being an 82 overall this season, has found itself with the No. 4 wide receiver in the game.
Duce Robinson is currently rated as a 92 overall. He's in the same zip code as guys like Texas' Cam Coleman, Miami's Malachi Toney, and even the first 99 overall to be in a CFB game at launch, Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith.
Without question, Robinson is almost certainly going to be one of the highest-rated players on FSU's squad this year, and should he perform well, his overall rating will improve further.
College Football 27 releases July 9 on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and for the first time, on PC through Steam and the Epic Games store. You can view every ACC team's rating here.
