Just ordered my tickets for the home opener. (Thanks, Die Hard for telling me about the presale!) They originally tried to put me in the alcohol-free section, LOL! Woo hoo! I am pumped.

Yeah, tell me about it! Yankee stadium did that to us last summer. They NEVER told us it was alcohol-free when we ordered the tix. Fortunately we were able to change our tix the day of the game, but we each had to ante up another $3. (Then they charged us $7.75 for beers.) That taught us to ALWAYS ASK if the seating is alcohol-free.

BTW, how much will the beer run me at SDS and do they still give you the cool (a relative term, I know) heavy plastic cups that I can save and use later?

BTW, SWD, Southwest flights from Philly to Phoenix? Less than $400 total for me and my sis. Road trip my arse! Flying is the only way to go, especially at those prices.

Oh. But wouldnt it be more fun hitting every sports bar from here to there on the way??? bring a video camera and capture it all! Man that would be awesome. Wife would kill me tho.

I sit in an alcohol-free section at the Cards games and very few enemy fans are as smart as you. They come all garbed up, boozed up, trying to push their way into "their" seats with big beers and then get totally pissed when they find out it's alcohol-free. And we Cards fans in that section have no mercy on them. If they don't leave, security is sicced on them. About half the time, we don't see them again. Which is great if they are in front of us or to the side. It means we can spread out from our 24" piece of steel bench that we're paying almost 50$ for.

I got tix last night, too. Section 9 Row 10. They got me with the Alchohol Free section, unfortunately. Naw, I knew it was alcohol free, I said screw it I'm getting the best seasts possible without sitting in the sun for 3 hours.(Could have gotten row 7 in section 29 but didn't want to deal with the sun)
