Texas A&M softball remains red hot.
The Aggies swept LSU over the weekend to run their winning streak to 12 and move into first place in the SEC.
Texas A&M hasn’t lost since March 22 against Alabama.
The sweep of LSU was the Aggies’ first SEC sweep against a top-10 opponent since sweeping No. 7 Ole Miss in 2018 and A&M’s first-ever sweep of LSU.
The Aggies had never swept back-to-back conference series since joining the SEC.
With the sweep, along with other results around them — Texas dropping a home series to Tennessee and Oklahoma dropping two of three at Alabama — skyrocketed Texas A&M to the top of the SEC softball power rankings for the first time this season.
