The line between the top four spots in SEC softball is razor-thin.
Texas A&M leads the conference standings, a half game ahead of Texas and Oklahoma. Tennessee is a game-and-a-half back of the Aggies.
It’s not easy to order the four, but the next couple of weeks should provide some more clarity.
Texas A&M has a series remaining against Arkansas at home and at Tennessee. Texas plays at Oklahoma this weekend before hosting Kentucky. Oklahoma finishes the season at Florida while the Volunteers are at Ole Miss this weekend.
After the Aggies and Longhorns switched places last week, Texas regains the top spot thanks to a series win against LSU at home, while the Aggies were run-ruled in their series finale against Missouri to snap their winning streak at 14 consecutive games.
How did the rest of the conference power rankings shake out with two weekends remaining in the regular season?
