Season ticket prices on the rise

Not surprising given the team's success - all pricing levels are increased from last year.

We currently sit in the Terrance End Zone (cheapest in the stadium) - price increased 25% from last year ($300-400) and I think it was $250 for many years before last year. And, before anyone asks, of course I am going to renew!

i beleive that all the visiting fans are partly a symptom of the face value of tickets being underpriced, and that increasing the ticket price will reduce the number of visiting fans

Curious if the Cards go to a dynamic pricing strategy:

lets say you have a ticket that is $250 a game, or $2,500 for the season. Next year, the Seattle and New England games are priced at $400 a game, but the Tampa and New Orleans are priced at $100 a game. Your 10 game package price doesnt change, but the "value" of the tickets to different games do

The cheapest seats had the biggest increase. If you ask me thats a pretty good way to thin the brokers out - since those are they seats they mainly own.

My seats only went up $50 per seat. That's $10 per game more than I spent last year for 2 seats. I can't complain about that when the product on the field and in the stadium continues to get better and better every year.

Yeah it's kind of silly. The preseason games for my tix and lower draw regular season games were $60 or so, but then teams like the Packers were $130ish.

Just a silly marketing ploy.

Like I said above, I think the higher increases for the cheaper seats is intentional and related to trying to water down visitors and brokers. The areas where brokers appear to own the most tickets has gone up the most percentage wise.

Yeah it's fun explaining to your friend who you sold an extra ticket to for $80 one game that the next game is $130.

I actually like the "dynamic" pricing. It makes the face value of the ticket more realistic, especially if you have to sell/trade. If I can't go to a game, I usually try and sell for about face value to other Cards fans. Some games are worth less (preseason) than average and some are worth a premium (GB, SEA, etc..).

Moving down to the lower bowl was the best decision ever. So much less BS with opposing fans and scumbags than when I was in the upper level dealing with new people around us week in and week out. And it's a 20 yard walk to go smoke

Sold my playoff tickets and bought lower level it was so much nicer.

I dont think the price increase will impact scalpers or visitors. Visitors teams are rarely here so they are willing to pay higher prices than home team fans regardless.

I used to sit in section 121, go to the top at the 2 minute warning and would easily have time to smoke two and get back without missing anything.
