After staying relatively healthy all offseason, the Los Angeles Rams took a hit on the injury front in the season opener against the Houston Texans. The offensive line, in particular, came out of the 14-9 win banged up, which could affect the unit in the coming weeks.

Sean McVay shared an update on Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson during his press conference on Monday, telling reporters that both players suffered ankle injuries in the win. McVay said they’re each considered week-to-week, bringing into question whether they will play against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. McVay did not rule them out, however, so they could still play against the Titans.

Avila got hurt early in the game and was replaced by Beaux Limmer, but he was able to return in the fourth quarter after Dotson went down. Avila came back into the game, which pushed Limmer over to right guard in place of Dotson.

Rams RG Kevin Dotson and LG Steve Avila both are "week to week" with ankle sprains, Sean McVay says. Both will be evaluated later this week and are possibilities to play vs. Titans.
