Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are expected to sign former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold.

Arnold recently visited the Seahawks and Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald said that Arnold had a great tryout.

"It's enough right now that we had him in for a great visit, a great tryout," Macdonald said of Arnold's visit earlier this week. "It's a situation where there's other things that are surrounding it. We're aware of that. But we're working through the situation right now. But it was a great visit. I really enjoyed meeting him, and I think he enjoyed being here, so we'll see where it goes."

Arnold was released by the Lions this offseason after Arnold was arrested in connection to an armed robbery and kidnapping case. Arnold is facing felony charges that carry a potential sentence of up to life in prison.

Arnold, 23, started 22 games with the Lions over his first two seasons in the NFL, totaling 91 tackles, one fumble recovery and one interception. The 6-foot, 195-pound corner was the No. 24 overall pick by the Lions in the 2024 NFL Draft.
