Does Clemson defensive end T.J. Parker satisfy the Seattle Seahawks’ need for an edge rusher in the 2026 NFL Draft?
According to CBS Sports’ Josh Edwards, Parker is the pick for the Seahawks at No. 32 overall in the draft, as an NFL-ready prospect from day one.
“Seattle drafts T.J. Parker as the Boye Mafe replacement,” Edwards said. “Mafe signed a lucrative deal with the Bengals in free agency. Parker is a reliable edge setter with limited pass rush potential, but Mike Macdonald can put him in a position to produce.”
Parker’s body of work is an enticing draw for the Seahawks to make him their replacement for Mafe next season. The Alabama native went for five sacks as well as 9.5 tackles for loss in 2025.
Even more impressively, Parker combined for 32 tackles for loss in his first two seasons playing under Dabo Swinney from 2023-24. He gives the Seahawks a lot to like in this year’s draft class. Parker is one of the top edge rushers projected to be taken at the end of the first round of the draft.
