The Seattle Seahawks selected Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, which was met with mixed reactions from supporters of the team.

The Seahawks had a pressing need for a running back in the draft to carry the load offensively in the ground game for next season while starter Zach Charbonnet recovers from a torn ACL suffered in the Seahawks’ 41-6 NFC divisional round win over the San Francisco 49ers last season.

Price, who rushed for 674 yards and 11 touchdowns last season at Notre Dame, showed how gifted he is as a rusher, which the Seahawks saw something in when they went up to select him with the final pick in the first round of the draft.
