WWE held its Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday. The WWE championship changed hands as Sami Zayn captured the title. It was a special moment in his 10th attempt to win for the wrestler of Syrian descent.
He pinned Cody Rhodes in a three-way match that also included Gunther. The crowd in Riyadh loved it.
Gunther was not a happy camper and he put his hands on GM Nick Aldis.
The card started with the King and Queen of the Ring matches.
In the King of the Ring, Oba Femi became the ruler.
The Queen of the Ring is Iyo Sky, who defeated Liv Morgan. The latter was cursed by Danhausen before she entered the ring.
In a steel cage match, Seth Rollins outlasted Bron Breakker.
Trick Williams downed Ricky Saints. After the bout, Lil Yachty, who was with Williams took advantage of a defeated Saints.
In other other match, Tiffany Stratton beat Jade Cargill with an outside assist from Charlotte Flair, who always seems to find her way into the bigger picture.
