The Cardinals have a number in mind for Drake. Having a little more cash should not change that number. We have too many holes to fill so we shouldn't overpay Drake.

Before the new cba the cap room was about 39,7 mil, now it's 34, 8, and with the rookie class is about 29mil

29 ml, then they keep 5-7 mil to sign players when the season starts, to fill roster spot left by injured players

We have 24, mil for free agency

Maybe they can redo some contracts, but there's not much to fill the roster with adequate talent

Hes been rumored in a tag and trade for a while.

A lot of these players that are getting the tag are not going to play under it. They will either get long term deals worked out or they will be traded. My guess would be about 50% dont play under the tag next year
