The Indianapolis Colts have officially signed defensive end Caden Curry to his four-year rookie deal, and Over the Cap has contract details and salary cap hits.
This four-year deal for Curry totals $4.586 million, which averages out to $1.146 million per year. Curry earned a guaranteed signing bonus of $206,532.
Curry will earn a base salary of $885,000 for the 2026 season, and that figure will increase each season, maxing out at $1.280 million in 2029, the final year of his deal.
The aforementioned signing bonus will be prorated for salary cap purposes over the life of the contract, accounting for $51,633 against the cap each season.
Presumably, four spots in the defensive end rotation are already accounted for between Laiatu Latu, JT Tuimoloau, Arden Key, and Micheal Clemons. That leaves just a few snaps potentially up for grabs as the fifth member of the rotation, or it's possible the Colts will go with just four regular contributors at defensive end. Curry's impact as a rookie may be felt more so on special teams.
