It is pro day season around the collegiate football landscape, with many top draft prospects taking the opportunity to try and raise their stock ahead of April's big three-day event. That said, the combine provided many players the chance to already showcase their skills, and this year, especially, there were some risers who really made it clear they were ready for the bigger stage.

One of the names who had an impressive day was Memphis offensive tackle, Travis Burke. It was already clear he was an absolute specimen size-wise, coming in at 6-foot-9 and 325 pounds, but adding his 34 1/4-inch arm length and 10 1/8-inch hand size certainly helped his case.

Justin Melo of On SI recently reported that the combine riser has an in-person meeting scheduled with the New Orleans Saints during the Memphis pro day on March 19.

Burke is widely considered to be a Day 3 pick by most sources, with some even noting he could end up a UDFA depending on how things fall. With how deep the offensive tackle class is this year, some names will surprisingly fall a bit compared to expectations.

In the four events he completed at the NFL Scouting Combine, Burke ended with a 5.17-second 40-yard dash, 1.79-second 10-yard split, 27-inch vertical jump, and an 8-foot-11 broad jump, all of which are very impressive for his size. While he has really impressive athleticism and agility, his set-point speed is less than optimal, which causes him to struggle a bit against speed rushers.

In 2025, he played 762 snaps at right tackle and 3 at left tackle, allowing 3 sacks and 13 pressures, while picking up an additional 6 penalties. While not a perfect showing at the collegiate level, it does show enough to warrant a meeting to see whether or not he could be a late pick for the Saints. With 1,805 career snaps at left tackle and 1,129 reps at right tackle, he could be in play to back up both Kelvin Banks Jr. and Taliese Fuaga.
