Too close to call.

Saint Louis collected eight first-place votes, while Kamehameha has two, but the Crusaders and Warriors share the No. 1 spot in the Star-Advertiser Baseball Top 10 this week.

Kamehameha had been alone at No. 1 last week with one more point than Saint Louis from the panel of coaches and media. If weather returns to normal, the Warriors play No. 9 Pac-Five on Tuesday and Maryknoll on Thursday before a showdown with Saint Louis on Saturday.

Saint Louis meets ‘Iolani on Wednesday, then visits Mid-Pacific on Thursday.

The rankings are relatively unchanged with no new entries. Kaiser moved up one notch to No. 4, its highest ranking of the season.

Mililani returns

The Lady Trojans garnered all 12 first-place votes after returning from Nevada. Mililani went 4-2 in the Bishop Gorman tournament, beating Centennial (Nev.) 13-1, Reed (Nev.) 12-1, Bishop Gorman 8-4 and Foothill (Calif.) 12-3. Their losses were to Santa Margarita (Calif.) 3-1 and San Clemente (Calif.) 5-0.

Mililani (12-2 overall) is 2-0 in the OIA West and has not played a league game since March 7 due to heavy rain.

No. 2 Campbell is scheduled to host Mililani at 3 p.m. Saturday. When the teams met on March 4, Mililani eked out a 10-8 win.

Sacramento baseball power in Honolulu

Rio Americano has three baseball games slated on Oahu this week, including a matchup with top-ranked Saint Louis.

The Raiders play at noon Saturday against Mililani, which is No. 6 in the Star-Advertiser Baseball Top 10.

Rio Americano visits No. 4 Kaiser at 3 p.m. on Monday, then wraps up the trip with a 3:30 p.m. battle the next day against Saint Louis.

The visitors are 11-3 overall and ranked No. 48 in California by MaxPreps, which also ranks the Raiders third in the Sacramento-Joaquin Section.

Rio Americano is also ranked third in Sacramento, the capital of California.
