Safe to assume Abdullah was the guy Keim was so mad about missing out on?

I said before the draft that I think Abdullah would be the best RB in this class, even above Gurley & Gordon.

I very much believe that Keim badly wanted Dupree in Rd 1 and Abdullah in Rd 2, and he was upset when both were taken right before we picked.

I'm sorry I just don't like the thought of relying on Smaller RB to get the majority of the carries on a regular basis.

Draft Abdullah and trade him to Minny for AP? Why wouldn't they just ahve traded the pick to Minny for AP if Abdullah was there?

That's essentially what they would have been doing. Once Abdullah was gone, all trades were off. I believe there may have been another target Minny wanted too(can't remember who) but he was gone as well.
