Ryan Reynolds celebrating Canada's tying World Cup goal was absolute gold

The second of the three host nations began its World Cup run on Friday afternoon, but Canada found itself in danger of losing on its home soil late in the game.

Canada trailed Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-0 in Toronto in the 78th minute, but Cyle Larin came up clutch to give his team a shot. Larin found the ball in traffic to score a game-tying goal with just 12 minutes remaining before added time.

The most prominent Canadian soccer fan, Ryan Reynolds, was in the stands at BMO Field, and the camera cut to Reynolds just in time to catch his priceless celebration following Larin's goal.

Reynolds has become a face of North American soccer since he purchased Welsh soccer club Wrexham A.F.C. alongside fellow actor Rob McElhenny. The pair and the club are the subject of the hit FX documentary series "Welcome to Wrexham."

Now, Reynolds is hoping his own national team can deliver a World Cup run in its first time as a host nation.
