After opening the season with a win at the Rutgers Tri, the Scarlet Knights went on the road and won the Ball State Tri, edging out both Ball State and Western Michigan with a score of 194.975 to win the meet. The Cardinals finished less than a point behind at 194.275, while the Broncos finished at 193.025.

Gabrielle Dildy continued her hot start, winning the all-around with a score of 39.300 for the second straight meet. She paced the Scarlet Knights with event marks, including a 9.875 on floor, and contributed a 9.850 on vault to tie first out of 18 gymnasts in the event. Emily Leese anchored the floor rotation, posting a 9.900 — one of the team’s top scores of the day.

Event Rotation Standouts

  • Bars: Delaney Adrian led the unit with a 9.825, with Campbell Earley also adding a solid 9.800.
  • Beam: Both Keeley Smith and Dildy delivered scores of 9.825 to help the Scarlet Knights stay competitive in the rotation.
  • Vault & Floor: Dildy and Leese secured high marks on vault/floor, with the team’s 48.775 on vault helping seal the victory and a strong 49.000 on floor highlighting the closing rotation.

✨ Team Performance Notes

  • Rutgers won three of the four rotations (vault, bars, floor) en route to capturing the meet.
  • The victory improved Rutgers’ season record to 2–0, following a season-opening win at the Rutgers Tri earlier in January.
