HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Former University of Evansville women’s basketball star Camryn Runner has found a new home from the transfer portal.
The sophomore guard from Cicero, Indiana announced on social media Monday that she’s committed to Colorado State.
The 5’8 point guard was the first to announce her plans to leave the Purple Aces, even before the departure of head coach Robyn Scherr.
Runner made an impact in her short time at UE, becoming the first women’s player to record a triple-double. In 2025 she was named the All-MVC freshman of the year and this past season she was selected to the All-MVC 2nd team. Runner led the Aces in scoring, rebounds, and assists averaging about 18.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.
She joins former Evansville wing Jelena Savic who committed to Sacramento State as the only UE players so far to land at a new school.
