The Kansas City Chiefs have been active in free agency with the recent addition of veteran defensive back L'Jarius Sneed. Another long-rumored target, however, has decided to stay with the team that drafted him for one final season.

According to his X account and confirmed by ESPN's Adam Schefter, Pro Bowl defensive lineman Cam Jordan will remain with the New Orleans Saints. The highly touted veteran will play one more season and potentially retire with the only franchise he's known.

The 8-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman was in attendance at the '15 and the Mahomies Vegas Golf Classic, among many stars. He had spent most of the offseason being linked to the Chiefs, with Chris Jones infamously calling him out on social media, further fueling the speculation.

Jordan notably played for Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo in 2012, during his second season with New Orleans after being selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Spagnuolo was New Orleans' coordinator for one season, during which the team missed the playoffs, finishing 7-9.

The veteran defensive end has 132 career sacks and currently holds the Saints record after 15 seasons with the franchise.
