The Royals get all their guys back, as the World Baseball Classic has concluded.

Seth Lugo, Vinnie Pasquantino, Jac Caglianone & Carlos Estevez are all back in camp. As pitchers were stretching this afternoon, Bobby Witt Jr. & Maikel Garcia arrived. The two got a round of applause.

Then Bobby joked: "I need to hold the door for him," nodding back to Maikel.

Matt Strahm left early last night after taking a comebacker to the lower body. (Foot??? Unconfirmed though.)

Matt Strahm is exiting the fifth inning after a ball came back to hit his foot (I think it was his foot). Will update when we hear more. #Royals

MVP of the WBC, Maikel Garcia doubled down about his comments about Latin America, and playing for his country.

Acuña said Team Venezuela was happy for the support “because we are all Latin America.” That’s how you smash a softball question. Garcia didn’t agree with Acuña. “I think people, Puerto Ricans and Dominicans want us to play for Latin America,” Garcia said. “But us baseball players are playing for our country and obviously we are lifting Latin America up and demonstrating in Latin America there is great baseball, and a lot of talent comes out of Latin America but ultimately we are playing for our country.”

Garica would tweet out before the championship game, “Now I have to say that I play for Latin America.” Which in turn, he doubled down on after winning the championship game against the USA, again tweeting out this statement. ““Venezuela won, not Latin America.” As someone, who doesn’t have heritage to that part of the country, I can’t say much, but maybe some type of banter that is being blown out of proportion?

Kevin O’Brien of Royals Keep discusses whether or not Jac Caglianone can build off strong WBC.

O’Brien also wrote about some Royals moves, if you missed them.

On Tuesday evening, during the World Baseball Classic, the Royals announced via social media that they would option pitchers Ryan Bergert and Mason Black and outfielders Kameron Misner and John Rave to Triple-A Omaha. They also announced that they would be assigning reliever Helcris Olivarez to Minor League Camp.

Will Leitch and Mike Petriello draft the 2026 WS favorites from 1 to 30.

Here is this year’s Spring Breakout rosters for each MLB team.

March Madness starts tomorrow, (officially, although I watched all four First Four games!)

Today’s song of the day is Dust in the Wind by Kansas.
