The Kansas City Royals have been having an up-and-down season so far in 2025.
Kansas City has struggled to find consistency on the road, but at Kauffman Stadium, they carry one of the best home records in the league with a record of 11-5.
Despite a 3-10 road record entering Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Royals opened the three-game series with a win.

At just 24 years old, Witt Jr. has emerged as not just one of the best shortstops in baseball, but one of the best players in all of the MLB.
In Tuesday night's matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays, Witt Jr. tallied his 20th straight game with recording at least one hit.
This milestone is the first time he's been able to record 20 straight games with a hit in the short four years he's been in the big leagues.
Although he struck out in each of his other at-bats against on Tuesday, Witt Jr. is off to one of the best starts in baseball through Kansas City's first 30 games.
His stats to begin the season include a .316 batting average, .385 on-base percentage and a .474 slugging percentage while having 12 RBIs and two home runs.
Witt Jr. and the Royals will look to carry their 7-1 record over the last eight games into the second matchup against the Rays on Wednesday.
