MMA Junkie has live coverage of the Rousey vs. Carano main card with updates and highlights from every fight.

Robelis Despaigne doesn't have the career credentials of Junior Dos Santos, but now he has a highlight over him.

Kicking off the Rousey vs. Carano main card Saturday, Despaigne (6-2) picked apart Dos Santos (21-11) before a devastating right-left-right combination that ended the fight at the 2:59 mark of Round 1. The heavyweight bout took place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif.

Despaigne, 37, hadn't competed in MMA since his UFC release in late 2024. He pivoted to Karate Combat where he's gone 7-0 with a recent heavyweight title clinch. After Saturday's win, Robelis indicated he'd ideally like to compete in both sports going forward and called for a fight against Francis Ngannou.

Dos Santos, 42, hadn't competed in MMA since a bareknuckle bout in March 2024. He hadn't competed in gloved MMA since May 2022. While he was victorious in the bareknuckle bouts, Dos Santos has been finished in five-straight gloved MMA bouts.
