It seems hard to believe given that Rory McIlroy just won his first green jacket at the Masters last year, or maybe it's hard to believe McIlroy is 36 years old (that's just for me, I feel old).
But the golfer has been around a LONG time and has had a ton of success at Augusta even though the green jacket eluded him for so long. Which brings us to a fun stat that's very much in play for this weekend at the 2026 edition of the Masters: With one more round of 67 or below, he'll tie Jack Nicklaus for most rounds at or below that number (who's No. 1? Take a wild guess. Yep, Tiger Woods).
Those 42 rounds of 67 or below is also held by Phil Mickelson, who isn't there this year.
Pretty incredible all around.

Most rounds of 67 or better - men's major championships since 1st Masters held in 1934:
Tiger Woods, 48
Jack Nicklaus, 42
Phil Mickelson, 42
Rory McIlroy, 41 (including today)
