This is really entertaining. I can relate to Carell's character as a writer and as someone who says things wrong/says inside stuff out loud/just fumbles what he says.

Ah, Bill Lawrence made it. Now it makes a lot more sense why it's so good.
Oh…Ted Lasso! We started that one a couple months ago. That’s the best show I’ve seen in a long long time. Guess I’m gonna have to watch Shrinking too!

I have only watched the pilot episode but it's pretty damn funny and has all the Carell awkward that I love.

Holy crow. This show is amazing. I was gonna watch episode 3 last night and I ended up watching them all!

The characters just seem like really interesting normal people and the writing is incredible. Cristle for example. She seems like someone you'd actually encounter (maybe a little exagerated). Also, it's the little sprinkled in humor, like the interactions with the cop, that make it great.

I like this show... but don't love it. And it feels pretty tame for an HBO comedy, which usually feel much riskier. Feels more like it belongs on Apple.

I am glad I stuck with this one - I wasn't completely sure after the first episode. It is so well-written, and the ensemble cast is really strong.

Yeah, I just watched this one and Ted Lasso, and that was the most I've enjoyed watching TV in a very long time.
