Midfielder Renee Lyles and defender Jennie Immethun have each agreed to contract extensions with the Portland Thorns, the club announced today. The midfielder will stay with Portland through the end of the 2026 season, while the defender will remain in the Rose City through July 2026.

The rookies joined the club after being non-roster invitees and worked their way to the 2026 roster, with Lyles scoring four times during preseason.
Immethun’s debut came only two weeks ago, in the 2-0 win against the Bay at Providence Park, while Lyles made her debut against Angel City and helped the team get a win. So far, the Clemson product has three games under her belt.
