I’ve been saying that Ingram was our best RB for a while now. My expectations may be too high. We’ll see.

He's a rookie in a system that I suspect is pretty complex for a RB knowing when to block and when to go out in the pattern etc. Plus the read option stuff for a RB can be difficult you literally don't know if you're getting to keep the ball or the QB is pulling it out.

He played 3 years at Texas I think they played more read option than he did his one year at USC so maybe he's used to it.

Looked good in preseason.

I know he lost a game by fumbling on the 1 yard line but I can't seem to find his fumble stats overall.

That would definitely explain stuff though kids who fumble take far longer to convince NFL coaches they can be trusted

That was one of Eno's issues as a rookie, that helped keep him out of the lineup.
