I really think he is our best back. I hope he gets enough carries to show it.

Would be hilarious if this kid takes the field and finishes the season with 1500 yards and 12 TDs....

He's a rookie in a system that I suspect is pretty complex for a RB knowing when to block and when to go out in the pattern etc. Plus the read option stuff for a RB can be difficult you literally don't know if you're getting to keep the ball or the QB is pulling it out.

He played 3 years at Texas I think they played more read option than he did his one year at USC so maybe he's used to it.

Looked good in preseason.

I will say Ingram had a big fumble problem at Texas

I know he lost a game by fumbling on the 1 yard line but I can't seem to find his fumble stats overall.

That would definitely explain stuff though kids who fumble take far longer to convince NFL coaches they can be trusted
