We interrupt your very serious Detroit Lions Organized Team Activity coverage with a very funny, very ridiculous moment from the St. Brown Podcast.

As they’ve done in a few previous years, Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and his brother Equanimeous were in California for the NFL Rookie Premiere event. There, they interviewed some of the most notable players from the 2026 NFL Draft class for the podcast.

Thus far, only one interview has hit the airwaves, but it’s been a fascinating one already. Jeremiah Love, the third overall pick in the draft and now running back for the Arizona Cardinals, has already made a few headlines. He spoke openly and honestly about likely being on the Autism spectrum.

But perhaps the funniest part of his interview came during a repeating segment of the podcast. The St. Brown brothers enjoy showing these young players photos of current and old NFL players to see if they recognize them. During Love’s segment, they showed him a photograph of Jared Goff. Not only did Love not recognize Goff, but he had no idea who he was when Amon-Ra revealed his name.

Hilarious: #Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love played a game on @StBrownPodcast where he had to identify NFL players…

He couldn’t get Jared Goff to start.

At the end, he admits he actually has no idea who Jared Goff is.

“He looks like that old dude, Andrew Garfield,” Love says, while the St. Brown brothers are cracking up.

The exchange between Amon-Ra and Love after that is both hilarious and unbelievable.

Amon-Ra St. Brown: “Jared Goff, have you heard of him?”
Jeremiyah Love: “Yeah, I’ve heard of him. This is him?”
St. Brown: “That’s him, yup.”

Then after going through another couple players—including not recognizing Calvin Johnson—they get back to Goff.

Love: “What’d you say his name was?”
St. Brown: “Jared Goff.”
Love: “Jared Goff. He’s a quarterback?”
St. Brown: “Yeah.”
Love: “Was he good?”
St. Brown: “Well, he’s on the Lions. He’s my quarterback. He’s pretty good.”
Love: “He’s on your team right now?”
St. Brown: “Yeah.”
Love: “Oh, he’s nice then. He’s nice then.”

I’m sure some people will take this the wrong way and view it as disrespectful to Goff. And maybe it is on some level. But I think a lot of people don’t realize that many college football players don’t pay that much attention to the NFL. Plus, Love is a young guy. He’s just 20 years old. When he was a freshman in high school, Goff was already an established Pro Bowler.
