Las Vegas — The Detroit Pistons began their five-game Summer League schedule with a 101-91 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas.

Isaac Jones led the Pistons with 22 points, five rebounds, and two blocks. He tied the game at 85 with a layup at the 3:56 mark of the fourth quarter. However, on the 76ers' next offensive possession, rookie guard Labaron Philon scored an And-1 basket, giving Philadelphia the momentum they needed to close out the game. Philon scored 18 points.

Rookie guard Ebuka Okorie had a solid debut for the Pistons, finishing with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting with two made triples. He scored nine points in the third quarter alone.
