The "Queen of the North" has spoken.
She'll be gracing Soldier Field in Chicago for the Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears NFC wild-card playoff game Saturday night, Jan. 10.
Professional volleyball player and mom-to-be Ronika Stone Love, wife of Packers quarterback Jordan Love, took to TikTok Thursday, Jan. 8 to ask for help with picking out an outfit for the game "in the Windy City of Chicago."
"I think it's forecasted to be 25 degrees at kickoff," Stone Love said in the video. "But you know how wind chill works. It's going to feel like single digits probably."
Todd Kluber, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Chicago, is predicting temps around freezing at kickoff, he told the Journal Sentinel's Cailey Gleeson. With wind gusts that could reach between 20 and 30 mph and slightly falling temps, wild-chill values are expected to drop to the mid- to upper teens through most of the game. Oh, and periods of snow showers are expected, too. Fun.
Fortunately, Stone Love has a fully stocked "Packers rack" of pieces to pick from. But, she needed to get her fit figured out that night because she was heading to Chicago early, she said in the TikTok.
Cue: A bathroom fashion show.
Stone Love tried on several options, swapping pieces in and out, including a green "never before seen or worn" custom cropped puffer with Love's No. 10 on the front, paired with jersey track pants featuring Love's last name and number.
"Should I just go exactly like this? You know why I'm here. You know who I'm here for," she said, with a laugh, in the video.
Stone Love seemed to land on the cropped puffer, with two white long sleeves and a black heated vest underneath for layers, but opted for a more understated pant – a pair of black wide-leg jeans. The look was topped off with a white furry hat, matching gaiter and Packers handwarmer pouch around her waist.
"I think this might be the final fit," Stone Love said with a twirl. "I'm tired of putting things on."
The Packers take on the rival Bears in the do-or-die matchup at 7 p.m. CT. While the game will be streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, it'll be simulcast on local TV in the Milwaukee, Green Bay and Chicago markets.
This will be the third time in the last five weeks that the Packers have played the Bears.
With first place in the NFC North on the line at the time, Green Bay got the Dec. 7 win at Lambeau Field. The Bears won at Soldier Field in overtime on Dec. 20, the game Love exited after a concussion in the second quarter. Love cleared concussion protocol ahead of the Pack's Week 18 game, but was held out, along with many of the team's other starters since Green Bay's playoff seed was already locked up. The Bears ended up as the NFC North champs.
While Love hasn't played in the last 2½ games, he's set to start Saturday.
