Roma make no progress for Nusa, Godts and Schjelderup
Roma tried everything to sign Summerville, but Al Hilal quickly made a monstrous offer, convincing West Ham and the player to move to Saudi Arabia.
The Giallorossi are currently evaluating other wingers to improve their attack.
Several players have been linked with the Roma side: Nusa, Godts, and Schjelderup are three prospects still a long way off, for various reasons.
D’Amico is working to find the right solution and meet the demands of Gian Piero Gasperini, who is still awaiting his first transfer.
Roma is looking for a winger who won’t make them miss Greenwood and Summerville, two transfer targets that fell through. As reported by Matteo Moretto, the Giallorossi club is interested in Nusa and has had contact to test the potential. However, the 2005-born winger isn’t convincing everyone at Trigoria.
The Norwegian winger has had physical problems and previously failed a medical to join Brentford. He’s not a hot name at the moment, as Leipzig are highly interested in the player and have no intention of selling him lightly.
Ajax’s Godts is similarly on the cards. The 2005-born winger costs around €60 million and is considering staying in the Netherlands for another year without changing clubs.
The Schjelderup option is also currently a no-go: Benfica has set a price tag of around €60 million. A Premier League club is also interested in the Norwegian winger, who is open to a new experience.
