In a close Game 4 loss at Golden State, Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason picked up a technical foul during an on-court altercation involving Warriors veteran Draymond Green (who received a flagrant).
Two days later, Eason — a valuable sixth man who brings energy and defense off Houston's bench — still doesn't understand why he received discipline.
At Wednesday's shootaround prior to Game 5 in Houston, Eason said of the incident:
Eason was then asked if Green had apologized.
“He was just like, 'If I was going to kick you in the head, I would have done it on purpose,' I guess," Eason said. "But yeah, there's no apologies in this situation. I'm not looking for an apology."
Game 5 tips off at 6:30 p.m. Central from Toyota Center in Houston. As with most games in this best-of-seven, first-round playoff series, expect lots of physicality and a handful of chippy sequences. Naturally, many of those seem to involve Green — an elite defender who often plays with a competitive edge that leads to controversy.

I was surprised I got a technical, just because when somebody's leg is on the back of your head, I don't understand exactly what they wanted me to do in that situation... besides get his leg off the back of my head. And, once I got his leg off, he then grabbed me. So, I'm confused why I got a technical. But at the same time, they've been calling the game kind of like that the whole series. It is what it is.
