Looking at this from a football standpoint, which is difficult to do with such a tragedy but this has been one rough season/offseason for the Bears.

They trade for Cutler but he doesn't live up to the hype and they traded a 2nd rounder for Gaines in hopes that he helps bolster their defense. That didn't and sadly will not happen.
