Richard Marshall - DB - Dolphins
The Miami Herald suggests Dolphins CB Richard Marshall is a candidate for offseason release.

The Fins signed Marshall to a three-year, $16 million deal last offseason, but he struggled in coverage before rupturing two disks in his back in late September. The repair required a "daylong" surgery. Marshall is owed $4.55 million in 2013, and cutting him would save $3.02 million under the salary cap.

2 ruptured disks is scary stuff. And he was a Horton creation. Without Horton I dont see the point.

If he were able to play at the 2011(?) level he did w/ the Cards, sure. But, I think they'll avoid damaged goods this off-season as much as possible.

i really liked marshall, after being very skeptical of him when we signed him, but i wouldn;t touch him with a ten-foot pole with those injuries.

yep those injuries scare me.

I really liked Marshall here. However it was more for his blocking on punt returns. PP hasn't looked the same returning punts since Marshall left for the Dolphins.

The reason of the Peterson punt return Record tds last season was marshall blocks From the first gunner i think he never missed a tackle and Played Great as safety, nickel corner
