It appears Rey Mysterio is set to show the world that his family are the next royal family in the world of professional wrestling.

Mysterio’s son Dominik has found massive success since his WWE debut in 2020, becoming a two-time Intercontinental champion and one of the most popular figures on the roster.

But another figure fans are familiar with is his sister, Aalyah, who has been featured on WWE programming in the past.

Aalyah Mysterio set to report to WWE Performance Center soon

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Aalyah Mysterio, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, has joined WWE and will be reporting to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Rey Mysterio had previously stated in interviews that his daughter wanted to try professional wrestling, and had been training with Nattie Neidhart and TJ Wilson for the last few months.

Much like her brother Dominik, Aalyah is going to get an opportunity with WWE to see whether she wants to build a career in the professional wrestling business.

The hope internally will probably that she finds a similar level of success to her brother, who has become one of the WWE’s most prominent heel characters over the last few years.

Aalyah Mysterio has been featured in WWE programming many times

Aalyah Mysterio is no stranger to the WWE, having appeared on numerous shows to support her father from a very young age.

Her first notable appearance came when she was just nine years old, as CM Punk interrupted Rey Mysterio and sang an unsettling rendition of happy birthday to her to build the rivalry between the two stars.

She would make appearances in the future as well, becoming a pivotal part of the storyline between Mysterio and Seth Rollins, as she had a romantic arc with then-WWE star Buddy Murphy (now Buddy Matthews in AEW).

Her most recent involvement in WWE programming came in 2023, when she and her mother, Angie, played a huge part in the rivalry between Rey and Dominik Mysterio heading into WrestleMania 39.

The Mysterio family drama was one of the biggest and most successful storylines during the 2022 boom period under Paul Levesque’s creative tenure.
