Danhausen is set to take part in potentially his biggest ever match since joining WWE at SummerSlam 2026.
As is now the norm, this year’s Premium Live Event will take place over two nights, kicking off on August 1.
Night 2 gets underway on August 2 and will see Danhausen facing off with Dominik Mysterio.
The match previously did not feature any sort of stipulation or a title being put on the line, but after the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, it has now been confirmed as a ‘Human Monies on a Pole Match’.

Danhausen to face Dominik Mysterio in Human Monies on a Pole Match
The ‘on a pole’ stipulation was used more frequently in the late 90s and early 2000s, especially in WCW.
That now-closed wrestling company even advertised a ‘Judy Bagwell on a Pole’ match, which showed just how silly things had got before they eventually had to close and were bought by WWE.
Now, with Danhausen bringing back the stipulation at SummerSlam 2026, the internet’s reaction has been very mixed, with some loving it and some really not.
One fan asked: “Are we in WCW?! Did WWE hire Russo?! — is going on?!”
Another echoed: “Am I watching WWE in 2026 or WCW in 2000?”
A third suggested: “Danhausen might be the worst thing to ever happen in pro wrestling.”
On a more positive note, another commented: “I wanted something different at Summerslam so this is great. I like Danhausen, and this keeps Dom from getting pinned.”
“I love it omg lol. Monies on a pole match lol. Danhausen has a SummerSlam match this weekend that is insane wow lol,” added a fifth.
Another added: “Can’t wait for this amazing match,” while a seventh suggested people should not take things so seriously: “I’m sorry this is funny though, people just mad, lighten up. It’s worse things in everyday life, this just funny.”
